Well done to the children who have received letters and certificates for having their poetry published.
It is lovely to encourage children to write and have their work published and some parents may want to buy the book. However, we will have copies in school so that the children (and parents) may see it in print there, particularly as the cost is quite expensive. You will also soon be receiving your child's topic book for this term with lots more of their own work!
I will look into whether this was conveyed to (and by) the school as a competition, as it appears not to be.
